When most people hear about the Healthcare reform bill and the HIRE Act, they do not realize there are huge repercussions hidden in those bills for accounts payable. As a result of these changes, there will be an exponential increase in the reporting requirements demanded of those issuing 1099s and 1042-S. The move towards corporate reporting, the reporting of payments made to all corporations and independent contractors on goods as well as services, is a cataclysmic change. Consequently, it will receive the lion’s share of the attention.

For this reason, Accounts Payable Now & Tomorrow has invited Cyrus Daftary, Esq. a nationally recognized expert in international taxation and regulatory compliance to explain the new requirements to our audience on September 13th. After this session you will:

  • Understand the impact of the new requirements on your tax information reporting operation
  • Identify which vendors you need to solicit a new W-9 from
  • Be able to determine if your current processes are correct
  • Recognize the implications of the new reporting requirements when making payments to non-U.S. entities
  • Be able to identify all the types of income subject to U.S. withholding
  • Understand the FATCA implications to your NRA vendors
  • Understand what changes may be coming to the current Forms W-8 in light of FATCA

There will be plenty of time at the end of the session to ask questions. Once you've registered, send your e-mail questions in advance to publisher@ap-now.com and they will be included in the program. You'll also have a chance to post questions during the Webinar.
